Image Fashion Fix with Julie Hannah!

St James shopping will be holding a Fashion Fix in the centre on 4th & 5th September from 12-4pm each day.

The event will be hosted by The Daily Record’s fashion expert Julie Hannah, who will be highlighting the key Autumn/Winter seasonal trends from Next, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis, Republic, Bank Fashion and John Lewis to name a few; providing you with some great ideas to brighten up your wardrobe!

With beauty demonstrations from Bobbi Brown, goody bags and some fabulous competition prizes to be won, make sure to round up your friends for this weekend!

Join Tracy Turnblad as she shows the world what it takes to make a dream come true with a toe tappin’ beat and hairspray! With Edinburgh’s Royal High School’s performance at the start of St James Shopping festival calendar on Saturday 7th August at 11am. Then from Wednesday to Sunday each week throughout August there will be a variety of performers providing exerts from the sell out shows this year.


Come see the Merry Wives of Henry V111, the American Myth Theatre Company and Are you being Serious - Featuring renowned classical composer and pop producer Fabio D'Andrea, who has worked with major stars such as Katherine Jenkins, and surprise special guests to name just a few of the acts.. these one-off performances will be a treat not to be missed and all free.


Including the UK’s top professional a cappella group - The Magnets, will demonstrate some of their vocal harmonies with jaw dropping beat boxing, creating a sound all from the mouth alone. Always a sell out at the festival they will perform on Friday the 13th between 12 and 2pm, definitely a must see!


In the St James forecourt every Wednesday – Sunday each week, the Science festival “Mad scientists” will be performing street science to wow the crowds and interact with willing volunteers. The perfect free taster for all coming to Edinburgh and St James Shopping.
